Centralized order book or DEX and AMM: which fits?
The two models solve different problems, so the choice should follow your product, not fashion.
- Centralized order book: a matching engine, typically written in Go or C++ with an in-memory order book, matches limit and market orders. Balances live in your ledger. This model needs KYC integration, a custody design and operational staff.
- DEX or AMM: smart contracts hold liquidity pools and users trade from their own wallets. We build the factory, router, staking and liquidity contracts plus the interface. There is no order book to run, but contract risk becomes the main risk.
Some teams want a hybrid, with an off-chain book and on-chain settlement. We can scope that too. For contract work in this area, see smart contract development and the EVM chains and Solana pages.
